Located in the southeast coast of Fujian Province, Jinjiang River is located in the middle of the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Taiwan Island Delta. It is separated from Taiwan by a river. It is known as "the Buddhist country of QUANNAN" and "Zou Lu on the seashore". It has a land area of 649 square kilometers and a coastline of 121 kilometers. At present, there are 389 villages and 13 communities under its jurisdiction. The registered population is 1.06 million, and the floating population is about 1.1 million. In 1992, the county was removed to establish a city. In 2001, it was listed as a medium-sized city by the provincial Party committee and the provincial government.
